Respect and dignity

You will be treated in a polite and courteous manner by all team members and your needs will be met, where appropriate, to the best of our ability and resources.

All complaints against an individual member of our staff will be fully and impartially investigated using our complaints procedure, and a solution agreed where appropriate with the patient concerned.

Please offer our staff and fellow patients the same courtesy. Personal comments can be hurtful and are unacceptable. If a member of staff makes a complaint against a patient, this may result in an enquiry by the practice and further action taking place such as an interview with the patient concerned to discuss acceptable levels of future conduct.

This practice operates an Equality Policy which does not allow the discrimination or abuse of staff or patients because of their sex, age, beliefs or race. Reported inappropriate conduct will prompt an enquiry by the practice. If justified, this may result in removal from our registered list of patients or disciplinary action against a member of staff. A copy of our policy is included in our Freedom of Information Act folder which is situated in the waiting area.

Abusive or threatening behaviour or actual physical harm to any member of our team will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from our list of registered patients.
